THE ARTIST

Over 15 years ago, Rebecca Robinson decided to take her fine art to an entirely
new level. Creating large mural sized paintings and cutting portions of the painting into handbag patterns is where it began. In 2001 Rebecca created the PSNOB brand (pronounced snob). As Rebecca became recognized in art circles, so did her creativity. Rebecca literally took her artwork off the wall and put it in the hands of the public. The PSNOB handbag is more than just a "purse.” It’s a work of art you can carry! Rebecca now gets calls from wall art collectors and fashion aficionados.

“As an artist, it is my duty to push the envelope and create artwork
that sparks a dialog and remains timeless." In addition to an education in Fashion Design, Rebecca majored in Visual Communications at North Carolina Central University. In her spare time, Rebecca
donates paintings to charity and volunteers in civic activities. Rebecca has been
featured in dozens of magazines, newspapers, and on television. Her audience is
growing fast, and her social media reaches close to 50,000 people.

Artist Statement
“As long as I can remember art has moved me. Expressing myself with
my artwork allows me to convey a thought, an emotion, a personal
experience or an important message. As an artist, it is my duty

to push the envelope and create artwork that sparks a dialog and remains timeless.”
